Catherine is a management consultant, trainer, facilitator, coach and counsellor, with over 20 years’ experience of organisational and personal change management.
Catherine spent the first ten years of her career in human resources management, gained largely within the pharmaceutical industry. She also held the position of Non-Executive Director to a major first-wave NHS Trust for six years, acting as mentor to the Human Resources Director.
She has consulted to organisations such as Kvaerner Oil and Gas, Astra, GlaxoWellcome, Bayer Pharmaceuticals and AstraZeneca.
Catherine has a BA in Social Sciences, a Postgraduate Diploma in Personnel Management from Middlesex University, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychosynthesis Counselling from the London Institute of Psychosynthesis.
Catherine’s experience with integrating two very different company cultures following a major pharmaceutical merger convinced her that individual and group attitudes to change can be actively managed to lead towards more successful outcomes. She became committed to pursuing an in-depth training in psychological skills to complement the strategic planning of structural changes to support organisational change and development.
